A huge thank you to the organizers of the Morpheus Convention, Herner BuRG e.V., for creating such a cozy and welcoming event.

I had the pleasure of running two demo rounds of Mystika. In the second session, something special happened: one of the players spontaneously took over as GM. With only 30 minutes of rule knowledge, they improvised an amazing adventure using the pre-generated characters. Along the way, I offered occasional rule explanations, and they could ask me questions whenever needed. Together, we brought the story to life!

Image of a demo session of Mystika. A Narrator and two players are sitting at a table dressed with black table cloth. They all have character sheets and twelve sided dice laying in front of them. The narrator is explaining a situation, pointing a finger to support his narration. Two players listen to his explanation, reacting amused. In the foreground, a Mystika logo is displayed on a screen. Another screen displays a rough map of Amber City. The wall in the background consists of tiled windows showing heavy fog outside.

Now that the tutorial adventure has proven itself in the playtests at Morpheus, it's time for the finishing touches. Then it's on to translation and proofreading. Stay tuned 😁

Have a nice week,

Henning
